Seeing it Everywhere / Grey and Gold
I love gold. Not necessarily the Au heavy stuff but I realize I wear mostly (faux) gold jewelry, love gold accents and generally gravitate towards the warm sparkly tones of yellow and rose gold as opposed to the cool, metallic nature of chrome or silver. Recently, I started spotting grey and gold together. It’s kind of the best of both worlds isn’t it? Here are some great examples.

Bash / Craigslist Wish list
Pinterest. Facebook. Craigslist. Those are my go to guilt pleasure check them multiple times daily website. There are TONS of other site I look at too, but those three are the simple, mindless, sure things in my book.
Part ‘Bash’ is my event rental company. I am always looking for new items folks will flip over for their weddings, birthday parties or special events. Here are a few I am currently considering:
This piece could be pretty cool as part of a lounge set up. The yellow and grey colors are really in right now. I might consider painting the frame white to make it a bit more modern. $75.
This bench is just the type of thing I like to have on hand. I think the $75 price tag is a bit steep. I could get some table or chair legs, distress them and attach them to a nice piece of cedar for the same look at a quarter of the price.
This ottoman is a steal at $20. I would keep the wood as is but likely change the fabric to something more funky, mod but neutral like this one:
This pair of side tables would be great at a wedding for escort cards (attach a few rows of wires horizontally below the dowel) or for thank you favors. I would change the knobs, possible paint them a smokey grey (using this chalk board paint) and see what they would look like without the doors on them.
This chair is a no brainer. I wouldn’t do anything to it at all. $10.

After a rather long hiatus we are back. I’m not going to write a super long post about where I have been and fill you all in on my life for the past year. It will be more fun to let the little bits come out over the next few weeks. So that’s it. We’re back.
