I came across this article on Dwell about the 580 sq ft home of Mad Men star Vincent Kartheiser. What an amazing space.
How cool is that murphy bed?!
I too love the Wally planter from Woolly Pocket. This makes Pete all the more likable.
I love gold. Not necessarily the Au heavy stuff but I realize I wear mostly (faux) gold jewelry, love gold accents and generally gravitate towards the warm sparkly tones of yellow and rose gold as opposed to the cool, metallic nature of chrome or silver. Recently, I started spotting grey and gold together. It’s kind of the best of both worlds isn’t it? Here are some great examples.
(I mean dream bag…)
Is it just me or are these flats both masculine and decidedly feminine at the same time? I have seen a few people wearing flats in this shape and I l.o.v.e. them!
Maryam Nassir Zadeh. $311.
So chic. $78.
Sparkly by Marc. $250.
Peachy keen. $150.
Thanks coco + kelley for cementing it for me – these loafer are a must have. I predict these are the IT style for fall.
I have always had a thing for jewelry. Not diamonds and pearls but bold, fun and head turning accessories. There are a few things I never leave the house without: moisturizer on my face, mascara on my lashes, and rings on my fingers. I am more likely to head back home to grab a forgotten ring then I am to grab my forgotten cell phone. I feel naked without something colorful, complimentary or sentimental dangling from my digits. Here are a few I am eyeing now:
Jacquie Aiche, $99
CC Skye Pave Wicked Ring, $242
Kenneth Jane Lane, $60.81
Forever 21, $6.80
Marc by Marc Jacobs, $88
Kate Spade New York, $48.89
Banana Republic, $45.99
Vita Fede, $231*

Have you heard about my obssession with yellow home decor? No? Let me remind you…
I just love a pop of yellow. It adds a punch to a room. I could have yellow accents in every room in my house. Actually, sneaky yellow, you are in almost every room in my house! I might be time for a yellow intervention.
As I have mentioned here, I carry a Hudson Bay tote bag as my purse. It’s the perfect size to hold anything I may be carrying around with me. Yoga mat? Yep, it fits. Potting soil? Check. Bouquet of flowers? Easy. I’ve spotted some super cute totes that have me considering an update. Hello hand dyed hot pink with the leather strap. Don’t worry Hudson Bay Bag, you’re a classy gal. I’ll be back.
